Capitols Add O'Donnell to Roster, LSM Player Spotlight

Ronan O'Donnell to make USHL debut on Friday night against Chicago.

The Madison Capitols have announced the addition of Ronan O'Donnell to the team's active roster. The forward joins the team after starting the season with Cowichan Valley in the BCHL.

The Capitols coaching staff has given rave reviews of O'Donnell's play saying that he thinks the game very well. His size fits the build of players that the hockey operations staff has targeted since coming aboard in May.

O'Donnell leaves the Cowichan Capitals as the team's leading scorer through twenty games this season. During his time with the team, he recorded fifteen points including six goals.

The Fairfield, Connecticut, native is committed to playing his collegiate hockey at Yale University, 25 miles from his hometown. O'Donnell committed to Yale in January of 2022.

Prior to joining Cowichan, O'Donnell played prep at Belmont Hill School in Belmont, Massachusetts. With Belmont Hill during the 2022-23 season, he registered 43 points in 30 games played.

O'Donnell fills a vacant roster spot that has been that way since the team traded Jake Rozzi to Tri-City in October. The 2004-born forward is projected to make his USHL debut on Friday night where he will wear number 25.
