Kuzma and Jamieson Strike, Caps Win in Overtime

Madison improves to 32-23-4-2 on the season.

The Madison Capitols clinched a tight 4-3 victory against the Green Bay Gamblers at the Capitol Ice Arena. The sold-out crowd of 2,611 spectators witnessed a gripping contest as the Caps secured their second 70-point season in franchise history.

Andrew Kuzma's late goal with 4.7 seconds left in regulation pushed the game into overtime, where Colton Jamieson sealed the win with a goal less than a minute in.

Ending their home schedule, the Capitols boasted their highest average attendance since the 2014-15 season, with 2,144 fans per game, marking an 82.1% nightly capacity.

Ryker Lee made an impact in his USHL debut with a goal and an assist, while Carsen Musser stopped 32 of 35 shots on goal.

The two teams will meet again in Green Bay for the final game of the regular season before playoffs begin next week.
