Special teams and goaltending led the way on Friday night as the Capitols defeated the Omaha Lancers 7-0.
Ajay White picked up his first career shutout in the win for Madison stopping all 28 shots sent his way in goal. The win for White was also his tenth career USHL win. The St. Thomas commit is in his first season with the Capitols after being acquired from Sioux City in May.
The Capitols were outstanding on special teams on Friday night stopping all four Omaha attempts, scoring one shorthanded, and adding on four power play goals. The Capitols power play improved to over 26% and the penalty kill to 80%.

Ryker Lee,
Aiden Long,
Landon MacDonald,
Mason Moe, and
Gavin Uhlenkamp. This is the fifth time this season that Madison was able to score seven or more in a game, including now two against Omaha.
Madison will face off against the Lancers again on Saturday with puck drop scheduled for 6:05 pm.
