Caps Fall 6-3 in Dubuque

Madison falls to 6-5-0-0 on the season.

The Capitols dropped game two of the weekend in a 5–3 loss at Dubuque on Saturday night. Madison opened the weekend with a 6–3 win at Bob Suter's LEGACY20 Arena on Friday before heading south for the rematch.

Dubuque built a 4–0 lead midway through the second period before Madison started to push back. Lucas Prud'homme got the Capitols on the board with his first career goal, followed by quick strikes from Tyden Bergeson and Gavin Uhlenkamp to close the gap to 4–3 heading into the third.

The Fighting Saints added one more in the final period to put the game out of reach.

With the loss, Madison falls to 6–5–0–0 on the season. The Capitols return home Friday to host Cedar Rapids before traveling to face the RoughRiders on Saturday.
