Madison closed the weekend with a 4 to 2 win over Muskegon on Saturday night.
Sam Kappell pulled the game even in the first after the Lumberjacks opened the scoring. Muskegon added one more late in the period to take a 2 to 1 lead into the break.
The Capitols answered with a strong second. Gustavs Griva scored on the power play to tie the game, and Gavin Uhlenkamp gave Madison the lead midway through the frame.
Uhlenkamp sealed the win with an empty net goal in the final minute of the third.
The Capitols head into next weekend with a six-game point streak in tact.
