Madison recorded their first shutout of the season on Saturday night in a beatdown of the NTDP U17s.
Caleb Heil stopped all sixteen shots sent his way in the contest to collect a Capitols record in the 8-0 win.
With the shutout,
Caleb Heil now has three shutouts in his Capitols career making him the holder of the most shutouts in the organization's Tier 1 history. Heil was previously in a tie with four other goalies who all had two with Madison. The North Dakota commit and Tampa Bay draft pick now sits just two wins shy of a tie of the team's wins record at 37, Heil sits at 35. The wins record is held by former Hobey Baker Award winner Dryden McKay.
Stephen Cover and
Gustavs Griva had multi-goal efforts in the win for the Capitols. Cover picked up an assist in the game as part of a four-point weekend for the 2009-born forward. Griva moves into a tie for the team lead in points with 17 following his first career multi-goal game.

Max Rider(7), and
John Stout(2). Fourteen different Capitols had points in the win including
Jet Kwajah and
Gavin Uhlenkamp who both had two assists in the win for the Caps.
Madison has Thanksgiving weekend off before returning home on December 5th and 6th to face off against Sioux Falls.
