The Capitols hosted Sioux Falls for their second matchup in as many days on Saturday night. It was the annual Teddy Bear Toss game at Bob Suter's LEGACY20 Arena, fans were encouraged to bring teddy bears and other stuffed animals to throw on to the ice after the first Capitols goal.
The Stampede carried last night's momentum into tonight. They ripped off the first four goals of the game, putting the Capitols in a four goal deficit until
Will Dosan triggered the bears to be tossed as he tallied his fourth goal of the year.
Dosan's goal would be the lone goal for the Capitols tonight, as the Stampede netted three more to end the game, securing a 7-1 victory and the weekend sweep over the Capitols. The Capitols travel to Cedar Rapids on Sunday as they look to bounce back for the final game of their three game weekend.
