The Madison Capitols went a perfect three for three on the weekend, capping it off with a sound 4-1 win at home against the Des Moines Buccaneers.
Gavin Uhlenkamp picked up three more points Sunday, finishing with seven points in the last three games.
Sam Kappell had two assists and a goal, which adds on to the two points he got against Green Bay this weekend. Kappell has now doubled his points from last year, with a career total of 30 points.
Aiden Long also finished the game with an assist, tallying a total of nine points in the last three games, and just shy of 40 points this season.
Madison lost to Des Moines earlier this season in November, but redeemed themselves Sunday.
In the game, Madison was able to kill off two penalties extending a penalties killed streak to 29. The Capitols last penalty kill goal given up was on January 17th against Chicago.
The Capitols look to add on to this streak with 3 straight home games starting Friday against the U17s.
