Following the Capitols twelve-game point streak being snapped Friday night, Madison hit the road for the first of a seven-game road trip to Waterloo. The Capitols were able to come away with a 5-2 victory completing the season sweep of the Waterloo Black Hawks.
Colton Jamieson led the way offensively for Madison registering a goal and two assists for the Capitols. For Jamieson, this became his fifth multi-point game of the season. The defenseman was able to register his thirtieth point of the season in the game. He becomes the seventh Capitols player to do so this season and the first defenseman for the team since Ben Dexheimer and Luke Mittelstadt were able to hit the mark during the 2021-22 season.
Diego Johnson was able to score his fourth goal over the past five games. In this stretch, Johnson has registered eight total points for the team.

Ryker Lee, and
Aiden Long.
Caleb Heil stopped 34 of 36 shots sent his way in his 19th win of the season and 30th of his USHL career.
Madison exits the weekend in sole possession of second place in the Eastern Conference. The Capitols travel to Youngstown for a three-game series on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Youngstown sits in a tie with Muskegon a point back of Madison in third place in the conference.
