The United States Hockey League announced on Monday afternoon that Ryker Lee has been named the 2024-25 USHL Rookie of the Year.

Lee, a forward from Wilmette, Illinois, put up 68 points in 58 games. 68 points is second in the team's Tier I history (since 2014) for single-season points. Lee led rookies in goals, points, and power play goals while finishing second in assists and power play points. The Michigan State commit was named to the All-USHL Rookie First Team earlier on Monday alongside teammate Jet Kwajah.

His 68 points this season along with two points in a pair of affiliate games last season puts Lee in the top ten in the team's Tier I history for career points, tied for ninth with Max Nagel. His points per game rate of 1.17 is the best in team history among players who played over 30 games in a season.

This marks the first time in the team's Tier I history that any player has been honored with an individual year end award from the league. Along with the Rookie of the Year nod, Lee is nominated for the league's Forward of the Year and Player of the Year, which will both be announced later this week.
