The Madison Capitols fell to the Muskegon Lumberjacks, 4-1, in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday. Entering the night, Madison led the best-of-five series 2-1. The series will now shift back to Muskegon for Game 5 on Monday, with the winner advancing to the Clark Cup Finals to face either Fargo or Sioux Falls.
After a scoreless first period, Muskegon jumped out to a 3-0 lead. Jackson Nevers got Madison on the board with less than five minutes remaining, but the Lumberjacks added an empty-net goal to seal the win.
