Madison Capitols

Juliette Makara joined the Capitols as a Sales Intern in May of 2017, Account Executive in August of 2017, Associate Sales Director in April 2019, and Vice President of Sales in June of 2022. She took over her current role of President in March of 2024. The native of Arlington Heights, Ill., is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day business operations, including scheduling, ticketing, community and corporate partnerships, and communication with the league.

Juliette received a degree in Sport Administration at Southern Illinois University Carbondale with minors in Art, Art History, and Dance. After her time at SIU, Juliette was a summer sales intern for the Capitols prior to joining the organization full time.

Juliette also is a jazz dance and baton twirling instructor at Variations Dance Studio in Madison.
