The United States Hockey League announced on Monday that Harper Frey has been named the USHL Defenseman of the Week.
Frey, a native of Madison, gets the honor from the league after registering five points in the Capitols' two games in Iowa. Included in his five points were his first four USHL goals, two against each Cedar Rapids and Waterloo.
The defenseman becomes the second Capitols defenseman to be named to the league's weekly honor this season, joining Logan Lutner who was last week's recipient.
Frey leads the Capitols in points through six games this season with a point per game this season.
