Although the goal numbers haven't been there yet for Jack Brandt yet this season, the production offensively has been. Last Friday against Omaha was a great example of that with the Columbus, Ohio, native contributing at the offensive end with three assists. Committing to Colgate earlier this season, Brandt has earned his spot on Madison's roster this season.

Prior to joining the Caps last season midway through, Brandt had struggled to put up numbers with Chicago. In 20 games with the Steel, he only had recorded two points, both assists. Looking for a new start might not have been something that the forward was seeking, but it turned out to be something that Brandt's career needed. Once joining the Caps, he was put into a role where he was able to succeed and contribute.

In 30 games down the stretch of the year for Madison, the Colgate commit recorded 21 points including eleven goals. He'll have a chance to collect his 30th point against his former team on Friday night as the Capitols face off against Chicago.
