Chicago Battles Back, Caps Fall 4-3

The Madison Capitols lost a close game 4-3 to the Chicago Steel. Chicago was down 3-1 but came back with three straight goals, scoring the game-winner with a little over two minutes left in the third period.

Austin Burnevik kept his hot streak going, scoring a goal for the sixth consecutive game. This makes him the top scorer in the league for both active and overall goal streak this season. Chris Delaney, playing against his old team, had a goal and an assist in the game. Sam Rice also chipped in with his fifth goal of the season to give Madison a 3-1 lead.James Hong continued his good form, getting an assist on Burnevik's goal and extending his point streak to ten games, tying the longest active streak in the league.

Despite the loss, the teams will face off again on Saturday at the Chicago Steel's home arena, Fox Valley Ice Arena, at 6:05. Madison will be looking to bounce back in the second game of this series.
