Caps Get Shutout in Cedar Rapids 3-0

Madison traveled to Cedar Rapids for the team's first and only Tuesday night contest of the 2022-23 season. The game was originally scheduled for March 31st but was postponed due to weather in the area.

The Capitols battled throughout the majority of each of the game's three periods of play, but gave up a goal in the final two minutes of each period. Madison was unable to find any success on the other end of the ice going 0/5 on the power play while only putting 19 shots on net. Rastislav Elias played well in the game only giving up two goals on 41 shots on net with the final goal being an empty netter.

A page must be turned for Madison as they host their final home game of the season on Friday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 pm on Friday night as the Caps host Green Bay for the final home game of the season. It is our annual Frozen Lemonade Classic presented by Northwestern Mutual benefitting UW Children's Hospital through Alex's Lemonade Stand. The game also marks our final $1 Beer Night of the season. Tickets are available at tickets.madcapshockey.com.
