Coming off of a postponed contest on Friday, the Capitols faced off against Green Bay on Saturday evening. Although the Capitols came with more chances offensively, it was a lone power play goal for Green Bay that brought them home two points.
Carsen Musser stopped 21 of 22 Green Bay shot attempts on Saturday night. The one goal allowed matched his lowest of the season for two other games. This is the second time that Musser has picked up a loss while allowing one goal this season.
Diego Johnson made his USHL debut in the game. He found himself in scoring chances multiple times and finding three shots on goal.
The Green Bay tally was found on the power play in the second period. This marks the first time that no goals were scored at even strength this season in a Capitols game.
