In an intense matchup between the Madison Capitols and the Fargo Force, the Capitols fell short in a 5-2 loss. The game saw an early power-play goal by Andrew Kuzma, his 11th of the season, showcasing his prowess and leadership as the team's power-play goal leader with seven this season.

Despite Kuzma's efforts, the Capitols found themselves tied in the second period when Max Nagel delivered a skillful baseball bat swing to sneak one past the opposing goaltender. However, the momentum shifted as Fargo responded with three unanswered goals, ultimately securing a 5-2 victory.

Goaltender Berzins displayed resilience, stopping 37 of the 42 shots fired by the relentless Fargo Force. Despite his efforts, the Capitols couldn't overcome the Force's offensive onslaught.

The teams are set to face off again on Saturday at 6:05 pm, providing the Capitols with an opportunity for redemption and a chance to even the score. Fans can anticipate another thrilling battle between these two competitive teams as they vie for supremacy on the ice.

The Capitols return home to face off against the Tri-City Storm the following weekend on the 26th and 27th. On Friday, the 26th, it's another $1 Beer Night presented by Coors Light.
