With his second period goal, first of two of the night, Austin Burnevik has scored thirty goals on the season. He is the first Capitols player in the franchise's Tier 1 history to accomplish that. He also became the fifth player in the team's Tier 1 history to break the 50 point threshold for a single season as well in the team's 4-3 win over Muskegon on Friday night.

Madison captured their third straight win in the game, which is tied for the second longest streak of the season for the Capitols.

Also scoring in the game for Madison were Max Nagel(16) and Diego Johnson(2). Both of their goals came in the first period where Madison skated to a 2-0 advantage after one period.

In the second, both teams found themselves on the scoreboard once, which included Austin Burnevik's first power play goal of the night. His third period goal also came on the man advantage, which went 2/3 on Friday night.

Muskegon had a late effort in the third with a chance to tie things in the waining moments of regulation but Carsen Musser and the Capitols held strong to win 4-3.

Madison improves to 21-19-4-2 on the season with a chance to collect four points on the weekend on Saturday against the USNTDP U18s. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 pm(ET) in Plymouth, Michigan.
