The Madison Capitols have announced the acquisition of goaltender Ajay White in a trade with Sioux City Musketeers. In exchange for White, Madison has sent Tri-City's 2024 Phase II 3rd Round selection and Madison's 2025 Phase II 8th Round pick to Sioux City.
Ajay White, primarily with Chippewa in the NAHL last season, joins the team ahead of the Phase II draft on Tuesday. The St. Thomas commit boasts a .910 save percentage and 2.90 goals against average across 32 games with Chippewa. In his brief stint with Sioux City in the USHL, White maintained a .875 save percentage and a 3.51 goals against average in two games.
The addition of Ajay White strengthens the Capitols goaltending lineup as they continue the USHL Draft at 11 am with the Phase II portion.
