The United States Hockey League announced on Monday that Logan Lutner has been named the USHL Defenseman of the Week.

Lutner, a native of Maple Grove, Minnesota, gets the honor from the league after registering three points in the Capitols' two games in Muskegon over the weekend. Included in his three points were his first two goals with Madison, one each night.

The defenseman becomes the first Capitols player to be named to a weekly honor in the league this season.

Lutner leads the Capitols in points through four games this season with a point per game.
