Chicago scored late to take down Madison 4–3 on Saturday night. Tobias Ohman opened the scoring for the Steel with a first-period power-play goal.
The Capitols answered early in the second as Nolen Geerdes scored his first goal of the season on the power play, followed quickly by Stephen Cover's first league tally to give Madison the lead. Chicago tied it midway through the frame on a goal from Kolin Sisson.
In the third, Will Dosan put the Capitols back in front with his first USHL goal, but the Steel rallied once again. Marco Senerchia tied the game with under four minutes to play, and Jackson Crowder scored the winner with 1:16 remaining.
