DEFOREST, Wisc. - The Madison Capitols are proud to announce that defenseman Logan Lutner has committed to play college hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Lutner, 18 (2/21/08), collected fifteen points (5-10=15) and averaged during the 2026-27 season while playing with the U.S. National Team Development Program in Plymouth, Mich. Among his points, six came across his time in the USHL last season including one goal. In the World Under-18 Championships, Lutner picked up two points including one goal in five games.

The defenseman from Maple Grove, Minn., was drafted by the Capitols in the first round of the USHL Phase II Draft in May with the eighth overall selection.
