The Madison Capitols have signed Quinn Kaiser to a tender agreement for the 2026-27 season. The forward from Waterford, Wisconsin, played for Team Illinois 15U AAA during the 2025-26 season.
Capitols Head Coach and General Manager touched on Quinn's game and character"
"Quinn is a complete player with a strong offensive skill set. He's a 200-foot player who can be trusted in all situations. Over the past couple of seasons, he has consistently produced at a high level. He's a competitor and a highly motivated young man. I really enjoyed the opportunity to sit down with him and discuss his game, where he's been, what he's learned from coaches along the way, and what his goals are moving forward.  We're excited to be part of his development path and look forward to working with him to help him reach the goals he has in front of him."
This season, Kaiser registered 102 points including 44 goals with Team Illinois in 54 games played this season. To go along with his success at the AAA level, the forward had a great showing at the OHL Cup with TPH Academy registering 8 points in 5 games.
"We are very excited to welcome Quinn Kaiser to the Caps Family," said Director of Scouting Justin Friedman. "Quinn is a dynamic, playmaking Center who has a great shot and knows how to find the back of the net. We have been tracking him since September and he capped off a great season with an excellent tournament for TPH in the OHL Cup. With Quinn being from Wisconsin, we are very excited to have a player live his dream so close to his hometown. We look forward to welcoming him in Madison for the 26-27 season."
By signing the tender agreement, Kaiser becomes the first player to lock in his spot on the 2026-27 version of the Capitols. The agreement also takes the place of the Capitols first round pick in the 2026 USHL Phase I Draft, which is scheduled for the first week of May.
"Madison presents a first-class opportunity for me to grow both as a player and as a person," said Kaiser. "The culture of hockey is truly present, and it's clear that there's a strong commitment to development and success throughout the organization. I'm excited to meet the guys and for the chance to work with the coaching staff, learn from their experience, and continue improving my game."
Kaiser becomes the fifth tendered player in team history, fourth in Brandt's tenure with the organization. Kaiser joins Stephen Cover, Will Felicio, Jet Kwajah, and Michael Tang as the only tenders in team history.
