The Madison Capitols along with the USHL announced the schedule for the 2025-26 regular season on Tuesday. Stretching from September 17th through April 4th, this announcement includes 60 of the Capitols 62 games for the upcoming season.
Last season, the Capitols season ended at the hands of the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the Eastern Conference Semifinal, and Madison will have a chance at revenge right away this season. The Caps host the Fighting Saints in the team's home opener on September 26th.Â
Madison's schedule consists of more matchups with closer opponents this season as the Capitols will face Muskegon, USNTDP, and Youngstown less this upcoming season in exchange for more games with Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, and Waterloo. All of this happens while still playing rivals Chicago and Green Bay eight times each.
The Caps were the best team on home ice in 2024-25, and they'll have a chance to defend home ice thirty times once again in 2025-26, especially in January and February. Out of the Capitols 22 games in those two months, fifteen will be played at Bob Suter's LEGACY20 Arena. Post-holiday break, Madison will play nineteen games at home, which is three more than last season.
Book your groups and suites with the Capitols today by calling 608-257-2277 and following the directions to get to the USHL ticketing office. Single game tickets and promotions for the thirty home games will be released later on this summer.
